Park Dong-wook was a TV sports presenter back when things were normal. He had a loving wife, but the two struggled with the fact that they never had any children. Later, with the help of "Project Lazarus", his wife finally became pregnant. Before the official outbreak, he received news of the crisis from the TV station firsthand, and desperately tried to warn viewers. When he went home, he took his wife with him and called on his neighbors to prepare for the escape, thus becoming a respected leader among survivors. However, on the way, his pregnant wife was injured in a Zombie attack. Facing the frightened and suspicious eyes of the survivors, he chose to take his wife away to an abandoned house, guarding death and birth. Ultimately, his wife did not survive, but a new life was born. The desolate post-apocalyptic world finally took on a new meaning as he silently keeps watch over the tender infant in his arms, carrying the grief of his late wife, and desperately struggles to survive.
