Special Agent John Sunderland woke up in a hidden underground facility somewhere to find that the world outside was beyond recognition. The Zombies were rampant, the dead everywhere, and there were ruins and wails all around. The only memory he had when he woke up was that he had been knocked unconscious from behind while on a classified mission three years back. Although he has lost part of his memory, he still retains the qualities of an agent. With a cool head, agile body, and accurate marksmanship, he has not only survived the siege, but also found a shelter to call his own. Although his mysterious past has attracted a lot of suspicion, he has always proven himself reliable at every critical moment. Still, his heart is ever filled with gloom. He vaguely remembers being one step away from a certain truth, but now, even after consulting the investigation records sealed in a hidden safe, he just can't find answers about himself or this "truth" that's out there. He is also constantly haunted by nightmares, which have left him in a terrible mental state, though he has somehow still held onto his gentlemanly qualities.
