Sokolov was a military drone operator who was known for his many precise and cold assassinations. He never thought too much in the face of orders from his superiors or the task of taking lives. However, after killing his Zombie daughter, he gained a deeper understanding of life. For him, life is no longer a mere statistic on a mission report, but something vivid, albeit fragile. While being given the order to strike a stadium, he saw a family of suspected infected just barely holding on through the drone footage, and it was this image that made him go against the orders of his superiors for the first time. After the fall of the base, Lieutenant Sokolov and his drone equipment survived, and he formed a new "family" of his own with several children who had lost their families. He still operates a drone to fight the roaming tides, not to carry out orders, but rather, to guard his home.
