A mysterious and gorgeous ninja has arrived at the Shelter. With her flaming combat techniques and blazing red outfit, she has become a magnificent sight in this post-apocalyptic world. Mai Shiranui, the successor of the Shiranui style of ninja arts, has devoted her life to the rigorous practice of ninja arts from a young age and is renowned for her unique fighting style. Her name "Mai" means "dance", and she embodies her name as she moves as gracefully as a dancing butterfly while delivering blows as deadly as a bee. Her signature weapons, a pair of fans, are used both defensively and to unleash scorching flames through ninja arts. On top of her alluring ninja attire, Mai Shiranui's combat skills are also equally stunning. After joining the competitive fighting scene, she participated in the prestigious "THE KING OF FIGHTERS" tournament with the Women Fighters Team, an all-female fighting team as the name suggests. There, she showcased her exceptional combat abilities as she strived to claim the title of fighting champion. Even after the tournament, Mai Shiranui remains committed to honing her ninja arts and combat prowess. Even in this desolate zombie-infested world, she continues to embark on journeys to seek both training and refuge, and forged a passionate and enchanting connection with the Shelter along the way.
