Lynne once had a happy, loving family. Her parents were military personnel who doted on her,and their passion for machinery influenced Lynne greatly. When the zombie apocalypse broke out, Lynne was on a study tour of her parents' military factory. Bloodshed and chaos erupted in an instant, and to protect Lynne, her parents equipped her with a prototype military exoskeleton they were developing. Lynne managed to survive the zombies thanks to the exoskeleton, but her parents did not escape their jaws. Left with no choice, Lynne eventually had to shoot down her zombified parents with her own hands. She emerged from the ordeal as a resilient and independent young woman,clad in a cold exoskeleton and wielding a disproportionately large weapon while fighting to survive. To Lynne, the exoskeleton is the only memento she has from her parents. The post-apocalyptic world may be cruel, but the protection and support from the exoskeleton gives her warmth and hope. It makes her feel as if her parents are still by her side, watching over her.
